WRUP All DPS Players are Sharks Edition

It's time for us to share a truth many MMO players don't know The truth is that all DPS players can be considered sharks. You may be wondering why so many DPS are glued to the mantra "GOGOGO" because slowing down for even an instant means they'll be dead. They're required to keep swimming and killing. This is what MMOs are doing to the sharks of the world. It's not necessary to ask how sharks type or play the game. The rogue who doesn't wait for the healer, tank, or any other DPS will do what he does. He's a shark.

One of the Massively staff members could be a shark, however I'm not able to confirm or confirm or deny it. Perhaps they reveal his or his or her status as a shark in this week's WRUP or it's just our usual review of our weekend plans as usual. We won't know until you've read the following section. However you can inform us by leaving a comment below about what you're up to.

@Beau_Hindman - I am definitely playing more State of Decay. The game is fantastic and easily is one of my top favorites for single player games of the year.  System32 For MMORPGs, I'm testing out the limits of Minecraft's MMO-ness, I'll be enjoying the latest patch for DC Universe Online, and I'll also be getting some action in Neverwinter which I think is among the most beautiful and -sounding MMOs available right now.

@nbrianna: I went back to World of Warcraft with a group of guildies, so I'll be leveling old toons and checking out some Pandaria dungeons I've never done. It's going to be fun!

@Eliot_Lefebvre - World of Warcraft is currently my side game slot. Although there are some aspects which I'm not pleased with, it's something I love. Beyond that, I've got more Final Fantasy XIV questing and endgame shenanigans that I want to take part in which is why that will be my primary focus.

@Sypster: I don't think I have any grand plans for the weekend. I'm in pre-launch countdown mode for Lord of the Rings Online: Helm's Deep, so I'll likely try to play a few more scenarios in The Secret World and perhaps play around with this World of Warcraft thing the youngsters are all over these days.

@mvmatt: My weekend plans include soup, schoolwork, and -- if I'm lucky -- some video games. I'll be playing Warhammer Online, to remind myself of the reasons why it was shut down and to reminisce about the wonderful things that almost forced me to stay until the servers end next month. In addition I'd love to spend some time with Guild Wars 2 and The Secret World and The Secret World, both of which I've neglected for a long time. Perhaps, just maybe, I can cap some fools on Battlefield 4.

@MikedotFoster: This weekend I'm looking into the Three Spirits Dota 2 update. I'll also be returning to World of Warcraft, as the Warlords of Draenor announcement has me all excited again.

@MJ_Guthrie: I'm planning to concentrate most of my gaming time (and I'll be playing whatever, sickness be darned!) I am trying to do more in the Secret World's war on Filth. I would like to have the pet and the bee suit so desperately that I don't know how to earn enough tokens. But I will try! Did I mention I am stubborn? When I'm not working I'll be playing a few scenarios and trying out new builds. I will also be playing various races to become my new Channeler in EverQuest II. I have it narrowed down to Ratonga and Kerra. After that, it will take me just 30 hours to personalize the appearance. The name is just the beginning.

@RichieProcopio - This weekend I'll be intoxicated. I'm not attending the frat scene. I'll be going to the Tower of Nightmares in Guild Wars 2 to see what Scarlet and her new serpentine comrades have been up too in Kessex Hills. Oh yeah, and Hearthstone!

Every weekend, we meet up with Massively staff members to ask them "What are your top games?" (Otherwise known as WRUP!) Join us to see our games-related activities. You can also catch us in the comments section and share your gaming experiences with us.
